Why do we live, parent, and serve? For God’s sake and for His glory. Drawing from Matthew 18:1-4, Matthew 21:14-16, and 2 Corinthians 7:1, we are reminded that life is not about our own fulfillment or recognition, but about honoring God and growing in holiness. Parenting reveals our selfishness and our need for Christ, calling us to pursue our own spiritual growth while guiding the next generation toward Him. When we fall short, Jesus offers forgiveness and graciously restores us to the path of living for His sake.
