Join Nate Heyboer, Spiritual Director and Warehouse Manager, from Streams for a conversation about faith, community, and what it looks like to put our love for our neighbors into practice as we work together to create healthy neighborhoods.
This session is appropriate for young adults, individuals, and families. Streams of Hope (now Streams) is a faith-based nonprofit community center started by Hillside Community Church in 2006 to serve families in southeast Kent County and the Townline neighborhood. 92% of families in the Townline neighborhood are eligible for federal assistance and 42% of area school children live in poverty, compared to just 10% in Kent County overall.
