Isaiah 61:10

Isaiah 61:10 paints a beautiful picture of the gospel through the image of a robe. Left on our own, we stand before God clothed in sin and shame. Yet through Jesus Christ, God graciously covers His people with garments of salvation and a robe of righteousness. Drawing on the themes of Jubilee, celebration, and restoration, this passage invites believers to rejoice in the gift of Christ's righteousness, freely given through grace. Like a bride and bridegroom dressed for a wedding, God's people are welcomed into His presence, clothed not in their own goodness but in the perfect righteousness of their Savior.
