“It’s Who You Know” explores the powerful truth that our relationship with Jesus changes everything. Drawing from Hebrews 2:5–18 and 4:14–16, this message shows that we need a perfect and understanding priest to bridge the gap between a holy God and sinful people. Jesus is that great High Priest, fully divine and fully human, who suffered, was tempted, and now intercedes for us.
Because of who we know in Christ, we have direct access to God. We can face death without fear, receive full forgiveness, find mercy and grace in our time of need, and rest in the assurance of eternal salvation. Through his death, the curtain is torn and the way is open. This sermon invites us to live with confidence, knowing that in every circumstance, it truly is who you know, Jesus Christ our Lord.
